Speak Out

Speak out

Contact your local candidates and the party leaders to let them know you demand that they stand up for Canadian democratic institutions and ideals. Tell them that you condemn the Conservative Party's blatant contempt for Parliament over the past five years, which led inevitably to the current election.

1.  Send an email to the opposition party leaders.

2.  Send an email to your MP.

To find your MPs name and email address, go to the Parliament of Canada web site at http://www2.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseOfCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC and enter your postal code under "Current Parliamentarians"

3. Send an email to all of Canada's MPs at once:

Go to http://www.contactmps.com/cgi-bin/BillGet.cgi (this web site was designed for another purpose, but it should work)

4.  Send an email to Stephen Harper himself to let him know you think he doesn't have the moral authority to govern.

Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada: HarpeS@parl.gc.ca

5.  Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper offering your views.  Write letters to the national daily newspapers as well!
